These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PluckShot, a desktop application and related services operated by AppDesignGeeks LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using PluckShot, you agree to these Terms.
PluckShot is an AI-powered screen capture application that captures screen regions, processes them with AI vision models, and returns extracted or analyzed text. The application runs locally on your computer and communicates with third-party AI providers and our managed proxy service.
To access Pro features, you must create an account using Google OAuth or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. All subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period.
Prices are listed in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your location.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the subscription management portal in the app (Settings). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first payment if you are not satisfied. After 7 days, no refunds are provided for the current billing period. To request a refund, contact us at support@appdesigngeeks.com.
PluckShot integrates with third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, OpenRouter, Ollama). When using BYO (Bring Your Own) mode, your API key is stored locally on your device and sent directly to the provider. We do not store or have access to your API keys on our servers.
When using our Managed proxy service, your captures are routed through our servers to the AI provider. We do not store the content of your captures on our servers — they are processed in real-time and discarded.
Your use of third-party AI providers is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

PluckShot, its logo, design, and source code are the property of AppDesignGeeks LLC. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for personal or professional purposes.
Content you capture and process with PluckShot remains yours. We claim no ownership over your captures, screenshots, or extracted text.
PluckShot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI extraction results will be accurate, complete, or error-free. You should verify AI-generated output before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppDesignGeeks LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of PluckShot, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of PluckShot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your subscription will be cancelled and your account data will be deleted from our servers. Local data on your device is not affected.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which AppDesignGeeks LLC is incorporated.
